Daniel Attias is an American director, he directed the premiere episode for the Fox drama series The O.C..

In 2001, his son David Attias killed four people with his vehicle in the Isla Vista massacre. A civil case was brought against Dan and his wife, Diane for recklessly permitting David to drive their 1991 Saab 9000.[2]
